I find that the best approach to wedding photography is to be laid back. Your wedding day should be fun. I'm not there to boss you or your guests around, I'll simply just be there capturing the emotion of the day which is unique to every wedding. I graduated from the Cambridge school of Art with a degree in Photographic and Digital Imaging and have had several years experience of wedding photography. I'lll take as many photographs as there are opportunities, some classic - informally posed, some reportage and in both colour and black and white

EXTRA SERVICES: AKTIV Photography can offer wedding clients so much more than other photographers. As well as being a fully qualified photographer, I am a trained portrait painter. I paint in a very modern and unique style and can paint your favourite wedding photo for you, offering a modern twist on the traditional canvas photograph.
MAKE-UP ARTIST: Also AKTIV has a fully qualified make-up artist available to apply wedding make-up to the bride and anyone else that wants it. Laura has years of experience and has worked with many well known celebrities in London, so you'll be sure to look fantastic!
Our Wedding Packages
SILVER PACKAGE £495
Coverage starts 1 hour before the ceremony at the venue and continues until the beginning of the reception. The 'cake cutting' will be a posed photo.
Unlimited photographs will be taken, the best of which will be presented to you as an album of proof photos.
30, 6x8/9 photographs of your personal selection in a 60 page traditional album.
Deposit required at time of booking £250
RUBY PACKAGE £695
Coverage starts at the bride's home and carries on until the wedding cake is cut.
Unlimited photographs will be taken, the best of which will be presented to you as an album of proof photos.
40, 6x8/9 photographs of your personal selection in an 80 page traditional album.
A 16 x 20 photo printed on the highest quality canvas.
Deposit required at time of booking £200
GOLDEN DIGITAL PACKAGE £895
As the Ruby Package with a CD of all images with a license to print them as you wish.

DIAMOND PACKAGE £1495
All day coverage.
Arriving up to 3 hours before the ceremony and shooting until 9pm.
Unlimited photographs will be taken, the best of which will be presented to you as an album of proof photos.
40, 10 x 8 photos of your personal selection in a traditional, luxurious album with 80 pages.
Two parents' albums containing 80 pages filled with 40, 8 x 6 photographs.
2 - 16 x 20 photos printed on the highest quality canvas.
A hand-painted, pop-art style portrait of the bride and groom.
A CD of all images with a license to print them as you wish.

With all of the above packages, the wedding couple will receive a FREE photo session at the studio in St. Ives before their big day. This gives us the chance to get to know each other a little better and hopefully you'll feel more confident in front of the camera on the day of your wedding. A complimentary 6x8 photo is included.
Single prints are available to purchase.
If none of these packages are exactly what you are looking for, then I'd be happy to quote you a price based on your individual requirements.
PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP ARTIST £150
Laura will visit your home and carry out a trial approximately 2 weeks before your wedding. After a consultation, she'll apply make-up to you and will make alterations until you are 100% happy. Laura will then recreate your look on your wedding day.
For extra people to have their make-up professionally applied by Laura (brides maids, bride's mum etc) the cost is £30 for the trial and £50 for the wedding day.
A deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
